Innovation Day for SMEs 2022
23 June 2022 in Berlin
On 23 June 2022 the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) is celebrating its annual Innovation Day for SMEs which will serve once more as a showcase for successful innovations and a communication platform for innovative SMEs, illustrating their wealth of ideas and the effectiveness of open-topic innovation funding.
Under the claim “Change through Innovation”, numerous funding initiatives and programmes of the BMWK will be presented. This year’s focus will be on ecological innovations, digitalization and health.
Cooperating small and medium-sized enterprises and research institutions from all over Germany will present new products, processes and services, whose development has been funded by the federal government.
Visitors can expect a wide range of information on the funding of innovation projects that companies intend to carry out in individual company research and development or in cooperation with other companies or research institutions in Germany or abroad.
The event offers the opportunity to establish contacts with companies and research institutions and to talk to representatives of politics and government in a casual atmosphere. The day’s agenda also includes a diverse stage programme with thematic speed-pitch sessions, short presentations and discussion rounds on innovation policy topics. The coordination teams of IraSME and its sister network CORNET will be present in the dedicated “International Area” and gladly inform visitors on transnational R&D funding opportunities.
The extensive programme will be framed in advance by interactive webinars on all aspects of BMWK innovation funding and the offer of networking with potential business and research partners via a matchmaking platform.
The venue is the open-air site of AiF Projekt GmbH in Berlin-Pankow.
