IraSME and CORNET Partnering Event
Our IraSME and CORNET Partnering Event in Namur on 27th November 2019 saw more than 100 participants from all over the world. Entrepreneurs, researchers and stakeholders from various fields of technology joined in discussions on R&D ideas and gathered information on opportunities for international project funding. They seized the chance to network and to learn from the experiences of ongoing projects. During two pitch sessions, participants presented new ideas for R&D projects in order to find potential partners to cooperate with.
Parallel to the programme in the main hall, a „matchmaking“ session with more than 100 individual conversations took place in an inspiring atmosphere. These face-to-face meetings had been previously scheduled via the registration website and gave the participants an opportunity to find new partners for business contacts in general or future IraSME or CORNET projects.
Our network partner SPW – Service Public de Wallonie hosted the Partnering Event which had been organised by the funding networks IraSME and CORNET, both of which are financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

The partnering event in Namur offered a lot of added value both for those who are already experienced in setting up international cooperation projects and those who are new in this field.
